Returning home to care for her father, Aoife finds grief, friendship and renewal with an all-female rowing team on Ireland’s wild coast.
Back in the Kerry Gaeltacht to care for her father after a heart attack, Aoife is forced to confront the grief she has long avoided. Reconnecting with a local all-female rowing team, she finds purpose, friendship and a way forward on the water. TARRAC is an intimate Irish drama about family, loss, resilience and the quiet power of coming home.
Rialto Recommends TARRAC is a warm, beautifully grounded story of grief, belonging and second chances. Set against the rugged beauty of the Kerry coast, it finds strength in community and in the rhythm of women pulling together - literally and emotionally. Tender, uplifting and deeply rooted in place, it is a moving reminder that healing often begins by returning to where you came from
